What your team does

The Flexible Payments team is building Qliro’s next‑generation Pay Later solution. We work end‑to‑end — from tech design and architecture to process improvements and customer‑centric experimentation. Our mission: create a seamless, reliable, and scalable pay‑later experience for millions of Nordic consumers.

You'll operate at the heart of Qliro’s core payments flow, collaborating closely with internal teams, product, and data. Our tech stack heavily leverages .NET, C#, AWS, event‑driven patterns, and a microservice architecture.

What you’ll do as a Tech Lead

• Take ownership of the technical direction for our Pay Later systems and services.

• Lead and mentor engineers, promoting modern engineering practices.

• Be a part of Qliro’s architecture forum

• Shape ideas from early concept all the way to production deployment.

• Improve and refine team processes — most decisions are made by the team.

• Design architecture that scales with Qliro’s growth across the Nordics.

• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering stakeholders.

• Enjoy flexibility in how and where you work (hybrid setup).

• Grow through a clear technical leadership career path.

What You'll Bring

• Solid experience in software development using .NET, C#, MongoDB and AWS.

• Proven ability to guide, mentor, and elevate engineering teams.

• Confidence in technical and architectural discussions — and curiosity to explore new approaches.

• A user‑centric mindset with a focus on real customer impact.

• Experience working with agile ways of working in a modern engineering environment.

• A strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and best practices.

• Experience and curiosity in how to work with AI

• You have experience from working with Buy Now Pay Later products
