What your team does 

Qliro’s Business Control and Analytics (BC&A) team is looking for a talented and driven Business Controller to strengthen our Business Control and Analytics function. The Business Controller will report to the finance organization's Head of Business Control and Analytics and will work closely with many other departments to create value for Qliro, our merchants, and customers through analytical insights and fact-based decisions.

What you’ll do:

• You will have a key role in the BC&A team and contribute to our analytical capabilities and profitability management
• Work closely with Sales and support them with financial deal-making for new and existing opportunities
• Share insights and provide modeling and analytical support to all relevant departments and stakeholders to facilitate data-driven and fact-based decision-making, e.g. in Sales, Business Development, Customer relationships, Credit decisions and Product Development
• Liaise with department heads, assist them with business analysis on their current operations and co-develop action/implementation plans based on findings
• Drive and develop forecasting and budget processes as well as supporting and ensuring a solid cost control in the business
• Support Business Control activities, and drive efficiency and productivity initiatives

We believe you:

• Have 2-5 years of experience in a similar position (e.g. business analyst, financial analyst, pricing analyst, controller, or a business consulting/investment banking background), preferably with experience from the financial services sector
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance or another quantitative field such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. A Bachelor’s degree or a degree in any other related field with strong academic records could also be considered
• A genuine interest in business, and a commercial understanding
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a results-oriented focus
• Solid Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Previous experience with SQL or a similar query language is a plus
• Proficiency in PowerBI is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Swedish
