What your teams does

As Engineering Manager for our Pay Later domain, you will lead two engineering teams focused on credit scoring and flexible payments, as well as our System Operations team, responsible for critical systems at Qliro. You’ll play a key role in shaping our technical direction and be part of our Tech Management Team, working alongside peers to lead and develop our Tech function.

What you’ll do

Team Leadership & Growth

• Recruit, retain, and mentor top engineering talent to support long-term team success.
• Foster a sustainable, high-performance culture with clear ways of working (WoW).
• Support your engineers in their professional development and empower them to grow their skillset. 

Delivery & Execution

• Ensure teams meet service levels and deliver high-quality software aligned with business goals.
• Remove roadblocks and continuously improve team workflows.

Strategy & Collaboration

• Drive tech stack evolution, system scalability, and technical debt reduction.
• Work closely with Product and Tech peers to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

Operational Oversight

• Maintain accountability for cost center ownership and resource planning.

What you'll bring to the team

• Several years of Engineering Manager experience, leading and growing high-performing tech teams.
• A proactive leadership style, helping teams navigate challenges and stay on track.
• A structured approach to team development, delivery, and strategic planning.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across functions.
• Experience from working in high paced and successful tech companies, preferably within fintech and/or payments
