We are now looking for a Head of Accounting to join and lead our Accounting team in our growth journey. You will be a key person of the Qliro Finance management team heading up the accounting team consisting of 6 team members. You will lead the team and together be responsible for the delivery of the accounting processes, book closing, external reporting, interim & annual reports. The role also includes acting as an advisor to the organization in all accounting matters.

What you’ll do:
- You will lead, coach and continuously develop the Accounting team and its processes
- Lead and deliver the book closing, interim and annual reports
- Continuously develop documentation and automate processes surrounding accounting
- You will keep yourself updated on regulatory changes within accounting- and tax area
- Interact and coordinate activities with external auditors
- Make sure that reporting to SFSA and SCB is correct and on time
- Secure that VAT and social cost are correctly booked and paid on time
- Make sure that income tax returns are produced and reported on time
We believe you:
- Have +10 years of professional experience in accounting or audit/finance
- Have previous leadership experience
- Are excited to work in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment with short decision paths and are thrilled to continuously improve ways of working
- Have an academic degree within business with a focus on accounting or equivalent
- Have excellent English and Swedish oral and written communication skills
- Are driven, have high integrity in combination with a collaborative mindset
You are comfortable in your role as a leader, are open to change, have the ability to prioritize, like to challenge the status quo and have experience in driving change and implement automatization initiatives within accounting. We further believe that you have strong relationship building and collaborative skills.
